About the race
Buzz, Sweat & Tears 5k is a Halloween-themed fundraiser in Fort Mill, South Carolina, supporting the Fort Mill High School cross country program, which includes athletes from Gold Hill Middle, Pleasant Knoll Middle, Banks Trail Middle and Fort Mill High School. The event is held at Bob Jones Stadium on the Fort Mill High School campus and features a 5-kilometer race (3.1 miles) and a 0.5-mile kids run. The mostly paved course winds through the campus, offering a festive atmosphere with local vendors, food trucks, a costume contest, kids activities and a trunk-or-treat.
Walkers are welcome, and fundraising helps cover team costs. Commemorative shirts are guaranteed for 5K registrations by October 1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
