Buzzard Rock Ultra

Website Registration

The Buzzard Rock Ultra, held in Robbins, North Carolina, offers challenging trail running on the Bear Creek Trail System. Featuring a demanding 10-mile loop known as the hardest in Moore County, the course includes rolling singletrack trails, steep climbs, and scenic views, including a summit at Buzzard Rock and a lap around Robbins Reservoir. Participants can choose between a 50K race, consisting of three loops with approximately 3,000 feet of elevation gain, or a 10-mile option.

The event emphasizes accessibility and safety with generous cutoffs and a "no DNF" policy, allowing runners to switch to the shorter distance if needed. Aid stations are well stocked, and finishers receive unique hand-painted wooden medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
