Byron Fest 5K

The Byron Fest 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run is an annual family-friendly event held at the scenic Byron Forest Preserve in Byron, Illinois. The 5K race features well-maintained trails with panoramic views and varied terrain, making it part of the 2024 Rockford Road Runners Circuit Race. Chip timing is provided, with awards for overall male and female winners and medals for the top three finishers in 5-year age groups.

The 1 Mile Fun Run offers participation medals but no chip timing. Amenities include onsite parking and indoor restrooms. Due to the terrain, strollers and baby joggers are discouraged.
