About the race
The Hobo Trail Runs, hosted by Rockford Road Runners, take place at Rock Cut State Park in Rockford, Illinois. This annual event offers multiple trail running distances including 10k, 25k, and 50k races, with options to participate in single races or the challenging Triple Crown series (85k total) or Triple Crown "Lite" (60k total). The 10k is a unique night trail run requiring headlamps and marked with glow sticks and reflective markers.
The 25k and 50k courses start and finish at the Red Oak picnic area, with the 50k consisting of two loops of the 25k course.
