Glow in the Garden 5k

Glow in the Garden 5k is a glow-themed running event in Rockford, Illinois. The flat, scenic 5k follows the Rock River Recreation Path, starting near the Nicholas Conservatory and looping into Loves Park before returning. The route is lit with laser lights, black lights, uplights, and other glow features; participants are encouraged to wear glowing attire.

Registration includes a T-shirt, a beverage ticket, and an admission to Nicholas Conservatory. A free 100-meter glow fun run is offered for kids, and a glow arch marks the start/finish. A trolley shuttle, parking options, and post-race activities round out the event.
