Caloosa Fest Ultra is a trail race held at Caloosahatchee Regional Park in Alva, Florida. Distances offered include:
- 50K
- 25K
- 5K
The event uses an 11.1 mile loop on varying terrain. The 50K is run as three full loops. The 25K is one full loop plus a half loop. The course follows park trails on the north perimeter, including Green, Black and Blue trails, and includes rolling hills and technical sections. The race starts and finishes near Parking Lot #3.
Support, rules and logistics
Aid stations include a main station and a mini station. The main aid station provides water, Tailwind electrolyte drink, fruit, snacks and sunscreen. The mini aid station offers water, electrolyte tabs, and limited snacks. This is a cupless race; participants receive a flexible folding race cup. All 25K and 50K participants must carry a hydration system. There is a dedicated area near the start for canopy tents for crewing; vehicles will be parked away from the start and finish. Shoe demos from Fleet Feet are scheduled during the event. The park enforces a no alcohol and no dogs policy. Awards are given to the top three female and top three male finishers in each race.
