Event overview
The Fast & The Furriest takes place Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers, Florida. The event benefits the Gulf Coast Humane Society and includes both a chip-timed 5K course and a themed pizza challenge. A post-race pizza party will be held at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria at Bell Tower with pizza specials and an early-opening bar for participants.

Logistics and race rules
Entry for each event is listed at $35, with prices increasing after October 31, 2025. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Fort Myers, Bell Tower, on Friday, November 14 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and there is race day pickup from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM. Water will be available for both people and pets along the course.
The event is dog-friendly with specific rules: only standard non-retractable leashes up to 6 feet are allowed; one dog per participant; dogs must be well-behaved, socialized, and current on vaccinations; aggressive dogs may be removed. Participants receive a T-shirt, a finisher medal with a commemorative race leash, and there are awards for top finishers and best-dressed pets.
