Event overview
The 14th Annual FGCU XC Gobbler 5K Event is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 at FGCU Alico Arena in Fort Myers, FL. The event is a community fundraiser that supports the FGCU Cross Country program. The program includes a 5k run/walk, a 1-mile run/walk, and a Tot Trot for children. The 5k course is one loop around the campus. The 1-mile and Tot Trot take place in front of FGCU Alico Arena. All proceeds go directly to FGCU Cross Country.

Logistics and awards
5k registration fees vary by date: Early Bird by 9/30 is $20; 10/01–11/23 is $25; 11/24–11/26 is $35; Race Day is $35. Registration for the 1 Mile and Tot Trot ends November 26, 2025. Participants who register for the 5k by November 17 will receive a Gobbler T-shirt. Age group awards are offered for the 5k, plus top male and top female awards of a $75 Fit2Run gift card. Age groups include 12 and under, 13–15, 16–18, 19–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–79, and 80+.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at the Fit2Run store in Coconut Point Mall and on race day in front of Alico Arena. Race day parking is at the Alico Arena overflow parking lot. A race map and waiver PDFs are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
