Canyonlands Ultra : event overview

Reported total elevation gain examples include about 7,828' for the 100K, 5,220' for the 50 Mile, and 2,608' for the Marathon; smaller distances have lower total gain. The event uses looped and short-loop course configurations for longer distances (marathon loops and a 10-mile loop are used in some races).
Aid stations are cupless: runners must bring a reusable cup and can fill bladders or bottles at water dispensers at every aid station. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and on race day at the start line near Behind the Rocks Trail; a photo ID is required to pick up a packet and entries are non-transferable. Free camping is available at the event base camp for participants and their family or crew. The event offers charity bib options with fundraising commitments ranging from $500 to $5,000.
