Event overview

The Moab 240 Endurance Run is a footrace held in Moab, Utah. The race distance is 239.6 miles (385.7 km) with total elevation gain and loss of 31,564 feet (9,620 meters). The official cut off time for the event is 117 hours. The 2025 edition is sold out and the waitlist is closed. The event is listed as a 2026 Western States qualifier.

Course and race support

The course crosses desert canyons, two mountain ranges and red rock mesas with views of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. There are 15 full aid stations that offer hot foods such as burgers, bacon, eggs and soups, with vegan and gluten-free substitutions available. Five of those aid stations are designated sleep stations and provide sleep tents with blankets and cots or camp pads. All aid stations are staffed by the medical team, volunteers and HAM radio communications. Live tracking is provided for following runners remotely. A runner manual is available. Payment plans can be set up prior to lottery registration; the 2026 lottery registration period is January 3-18, 2026, and the 2026 event dates are October 9-14, 2026.
