Capital City Dia de Los Muertos 5k

The Capital City Dia de Los Muertos 5k Run/Walk/Roll is a family-friendly event held at Granger Meadows Park in Lansing, Michigan. Celebrating the Day of the Dead tradition, participants are encouraged to wear traditional face paint, flowers, and attire to honor life and community diversity. The event features a 5k run/walk/roll and a separate kids' run called Carrera de Los Niños.

All 5k participants receive a commemorative t-shirt and finisher medal, while kids get a medal, bib, and goodie bag. The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, with live results available. Custom memorial yard signs are also offered for purchase.
