Capitol Hill Classic 10K

The Capitol Hill Classic is an annual road race on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, offering a 10K, a 3K, and a Kids’ Fun Run. The USATF-certified course starts at Peabody Primary School (425 C St NE) and traverses Capitol Hill: Stanton Park, the Capitol, the Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, Lincoln Park, the RFK Stadium campus, and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail. The 3K goes to Lincoln Park and back; the Fun Run circles Stanton Park.

Participants receive a bib, timing chip, a technical T‑shirt, and snacks, plus a free bike valet at start and finish. Proceeds benefit Capitol Hill Cluster School. Now in its 45th year, DC’s oldest and largest 10K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
