Capitol Hill Classic 10K
The Capitol Hill Classic is an annual running event held in Washington, DC, featuring a 10K, 3K, and Kids' Fun Run. The race is unique as it is the only one run exclusively on the roads of Capitol Hill. The 10K course starts near Peabody Primary School and passes iconic landmarks including the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Lincoln Park, RFK Stadium campus, and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
The 3K route also begins at Peabody Primary School, heading to East Capitol Street and Lincoln Park. The Fun Run is a shorter lap around Stanton Park. The event supports the Capitol Hill Cluster School and offers a USATF-certified course, race T-shirts, timing chips, and refreshments.
