The Care Net 5K Reindeer Run/Walk is the 11th annual event on December 6, 2025, in Owensboro, Kentucky. The event offers these race options:

Registration pricing: early-bird $30 through 9/29/25; standard $35 through 11/29/25; then the price rises to $40. Children 13 and under receive a $5 registration discount. Race entry includes a long-sleeved race shirt if registered by 11/14/25; registrations after that date do not receive a shirt. The Reindeer Dash has a separate fee and does not include a race shirt. The event includes fundraising options with incentives such as a CNO beanie or fleece headband, a $30 registration refund, hoodies, and other prizes for fundraisers.
Course, awards, and logistics
The start and finish are at Smothers Park - Downtown Owensboro (199 W. Veterans Blvd). The course begins at the corner of Veterans Blvd and St. Ann St, travels east to the Riverpark Center, then follows Daviess St, 4th St, Triplett St, 18th St (passing Care Net Owensboro), JR Miller St, 9th St, Daviess St, and returns to Veterans Blvd to cross the finish at Veterans and St. Ann St. Packet pickup is available the day before at Care Net Owensboro and on race day at Smothers Park. Awards include top overall male and female and division awards by age groups from 10 & under to 70+. The event raises funds for Care Net Owensboro, which provides pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, prenatal and parenting classes, and material resources at no cost to clients.
