About the race
Located in Owensboro, Kentucky, the Grant G. Talbott, III Memorial 5K Run/Walk is a point-to-point race starting at Legion Park and finishing at Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC). In its 39th year, the event celebrates OCTC’s milestone while supporting the Grant G.
Talbott Scholarship to assist students in dire financial need. Participants can run or walk the 5K, with a virtual 5K option and a discounted student rate. Race amenities include complimentary shuttles from OCTC to the start, commemorative T-shirts for pre-registered entrants, and post-race door prizes and a $250 drawing.
