Carlton Daze 5K

The Carlton Daze 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly, chip-timed event held annually in Carlton, Minnesota, serving as the kickoff to the town's weekend-long celebration. The 3.1-mile course runs through the heart of Carlton and a scenic section of Jay Cooke State Park along the Willard Munger State Trail. This event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, with separate categories for runners and walkers.

A special highlight in 2025 is the 100th anniversary of Carlton’s first fire truck, which leads the race and parade, features on the event t-shirts, and will be on display post-race.
