Carol of Lights Run

Carol of Lights Run is a family-friendly evening race on the Texas Tech University campus in Lubbock, Texas. The event offers two distances, a 5K and a 1-mile option, illuminated by more than 25,000 colored lights decorating campus buildings. The longer 5K includes a lap through Jones AT&T Stadium, with carolers along the course.

After finishing, runners enjoy Santa’s treats on a chilly winter night, with donations benefiting a local children's charity. The race emphasizes a festive, community atmosphere, and course maps and parking are provided; check-in takes place near the Chemistry Building on the TTU campus, with opportunities for volunteers and spectators.
