Castle Rock Trail Festival
Castle Rock Trail Festival / liveBIG Run invites runners of all levels to explore Castle Rock’s ridgeline trails, including Philip S. Miller Park and Ridgeline Open Space, on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Distances include a liveBIG Family Adventure Run (a family-friendly obstacle course), 5K, 10K, Ridgeline Trail Half Marathon, and Ridgeline 50K ultramarathon. The event fosters a welcoming, outdoorsy atmosphere for ultrarunners and families with children ages 5–12. All participants receive a T‑shirt and finisher’s medal, with professional chip timing and free post‑race photos.
Aid stations, water, first aid, and post‑race refreshments add to the experience, and proceeds support the Town’s Therapeutic Recreation Program. Elevation peaks near 6,700 feet. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
