About the race
Indian Creek Trail Runs, the oldest official race in the Human Potential Running Series, is held at Indian Creek Campground in Sedalia, Colorado. The 12th annual Fall Classic offers four distances — 5-Mile, 15-Mile, 55k, and 50-Mile — with a combined cap of 225 runners. Runners traverse seldom-used single-track trails through Front Range montane ecosystems, from lodgepole pine forests at 6,000–8,000 feet to lower montane grasses and red rocks, with fall foliage and city views along the way.
The event features well-stocked aid stations, a Halloween costume contest, and a mid-race distance drop option for the 50-Mile and 55k. Camping is available on-site in limited quantities, emphasizing community and inclusivity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
