About the race
The Parker Parks and Recreation Turkey Day 5K FUN Run/Walk is a family-friendly event held annually in Parker, Colorado, starting and finishing at the Parker Recreation Center. This non-competitive 5K course loops through closed roads and trails, including Recreation Drive, Jordan Road, the E-470 Trail, and the Cherry Creek Regional Trail, offering a safe and scenic route. Participants enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with waves based on pace, and strollers are welcome, though dogs, bikes, and scooters are not allowed for safety.
