Catch-A-Pig 5K
The Catch-A-Pig 5K & 1K Bacon Stroll is an annual running event held in Bel Air, Maryland, along the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail at the William Street Trailhead. This unique race features a 5K run, a kids' Piglet 5K for ages 6-12, a 1K Bacon Stroll walk, and a dog walk option. The race is designed as a chase, where young runners in pink "piglet" shirts get a head start, and adult runners try to catch them, with "wolves" starting later to add challenge.
Participants who pass piglets enter a prize drawing. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford and Cecil Counties. Dogs on leashes are welcome with registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
