Event details
The Celebration 5K / 10K takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park (across from Bahia Mar Marina on A1A). The event includes two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course is an out-and-back run or walk on the sidewalk, located steps away from the ocean. The event is non-scored and is described as a fun run/walk. The race starts and finishes at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park and a clock will be at the finish.
Logistics
Entry for each event is listed at $25; the price increases after September 18, 2026 at 9:00pm EDT. Race entry includes event entry, a finisher medal, a club T-shirt and signature bib, a food bag, water, and Gatorade. A celebration breakfast is planned after the event to mark the club's 53rd birthday.
Packet pickup is available on race day and at Running Wild and Runner's Depot (Davie) until Friday, September 15 at noon. Additional race information is available from the event website, www.teamfortlauderdale.org. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
