The Celina Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 27, 2025 in downtown Celina, Texas at 127 N. Ohio Street, Celina, TX 75009. The event program includes music, a community-focused race atmosphere, and opportunities to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes. It offers two race options and listed entry fees:
- 5K : $40 (registration closes November 27, 2025)
- 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk : $30 (registration closes November 26, 2025)
Packet pick-up is available at Valley Vines, 222 W. Walnut Street Suite 100, Celina, TX 75009, on three dates before the race: November 20, November 22, and November 25.
Awards, course and charity
For the 5K, awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in overall and masters categories. Age group awards, three deep, are listed for these groups: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 & over. There is a prize for the best turkey costume. Course maps, finisher medals and a race shirt are shown for the 5K and 1-mile events. A portion of proceeds will benefit Lovepacs, an organization that provides meals to students in need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
