Charleston Distance Run
Charleston Distance Run is an endurance event in Charleston, West Virginia, starting at the State Capitol and finishing at Laidley Field’s rubber track. The lineup includes a 15-mile race, a 3-person 15-mile relay, and a flat 5K Run/Walk. The 15-mile course is described as America’s only 15-miler, a scenic but challenging route that sweeps through downtown, hillside neighborhoods, and the riverfront, with the notable Capital Punishment Hill.
