The Chasing Santa event takes place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, California. The event includes these distances:

Registration fees are listed per event. The organizer states the courses are USATF-certified and described as flat. Free downloadable race photos will be available from the event photographer. Age-group awards and medals will be given to the top three men and top three women in each distance. Goodie bags are provided for children. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine.
Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use one large loop around Mile Square Park on an open course marked with arrows, signs, and chalk. Park address is 16801 Euclid St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708. Attendees are advised to enter through the main gate off Euclid and use parking Lot PA near the playground. Parking is $7.00 per car and can be paid by cash or credit at the park gate. Volunteers earn a free race entry for each event they work; listed volunteer hours are from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Bib pick-up and park opening times are given by the organizer.
