Chasing Santa is a road and beach path running event in Long Beach, California, on December 21, 2025. Distances offered are:

The event starts and finishes at Claremont Beach, 5400 E Ocean Ave, Long Beach, CA 90803. Parking in the nearby lot is $2 per hour; street parking is free. Early bib pick-up is available at Sports Basement Long Beach.
Course and race details
All courses are out-and-back and remain on the pedestrian side of the beach path. The course is not closed to the public, so runners may encounter walkers and other users. On-course support includes two water stations and restrooms. Turns are marked with chalk, a runner-turn sign, and a flag.
Participants must wear their race bib on the front of their shirt. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag. Overall first-place male and female finishers in each distance receive first-place medals. Race photos are free, and race results and photos are emailed the day after the event.
