Cheesy Pretzel 5K

The Cheesy Pretzel 5K and 1 Mile Walk is a USATF-certified event held in Bolingbrook, Illinois, at The Promenade Bolingbrook and nearby neighborhoods. Scheduled for October 5, 2025, it features a 5K run and an untimed 1-mile walk. Participants receive pretzel bites with cheese, and the first 500 registrants get a moisture-wicking long sleeve shirt and a finisher medal.

The event welcomes runners aged 5 to 99, as well as walkers and strollers (stroller riders do not receive shirts or medals). Awards are given to top finishers by age group, and post-race refreshments are provided. The race supports fundraising for programs aiding struggling teens.
