Chena River to Ridge Endurance Race
Chena River to Ridge is an endurance race on maintained snowmachine trails in the Chena River Recreation Area, about 30 miles east of Fairbanks. Racers choose between 55 and 26 miles. The route climbs high for views of the Alaska Range, with big ascents, fast downhills, and blind turns on a narrow, mostly rideable trail.
The race welcomes skiers, cyclists, and runners, with limited sections that allow skate skiing. The event is limited to 100 participants. After finishing, racers can relax in the thermal waters at Chena Hot Springs Resort, a short drive away.
Spectators are welcome along portions of the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
