Tanana River Challenge
TRC is an Alaska endurance race organized by Endurance North, held in Fairbanks with start/finish at the Tanana Wayside boat launch on Chena Pump Road. The event offers 25- and 45-mile distances on lollipop routes along the Tanana River and Rosie Creek forest, appealing to runners, skiers, skijorers, and bikers. It preserves the spirit of the former Equinox Ultra-Ski 100k, expanding with multiple travel modes, volunteer-run aid stations, and updated course routes.
A skijor division requires at least two dogs. The race is capped at 120 participants, features an inclusive after-party atmosphere, bib pick-up, and detailed rules/gear guidance for participants' safety and enjoyment. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
