Cheraw 24 Hour

The Cheraw 24 Hour Run, part of the Mountaineer Rumble series, takes place at Cheraw State Park in Cheraw, South Carolina. Participants run on a scenic 4.3-mile loop called the Turkey Oak Trail-Outer Loop, featuring a gentle 190-foot elevation gain. The trail offers beautiful views of local wildlife, including red cockaded woodpeckers and deer, and passes through pine, turkey oak, blackjack oak, and hickory trees on a smooth, fast surface ideal for accumulating miles.

Runners complete as many loops as possible within 24 hours, with aid stations and drop bags conveniently located at the loop’s start/finish. Awards are given to top finishers, and those completing 100+ miles earn a special buckle. Limited campsites are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
