About the race
Cheraw 24 Hour Run is a Mountaineer Rumble event held at Cheraw State Park in Cheraw, SC. Runners tackle a 4.3-mile Turkey Oak Trail-Outer Loop with about 190 feet of elevation gain, repeating for a full 24 hours. The flat, fast, smooth trail offers scenic views of red-cockaded woodpeckers, deer, and a variety of birds among pines and oaks.
An on-course aid and drop-bag area keeps gear accessible after each loop, with typical race foods available at the start/finish. Awards go to the top three men and women, and a 100-mile buckle is awarded for 100+ miles. Limited camping is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
