Hinson Lake 24 Hour Ultra Classic

The 19th Annual Hinson Lake 24-Hour Ultra Classic is held at Hinson Lake in Rockingham, North Carolina. Runners complete as many laps as possible on a 1.5032-mile inner loop around the lake; the USATF-certified course NC14103DF is a sand/gravel woodland trail crossed by 16 wooden footbridges, including a 300-foot span over the lake. The trail is marked for race day and lit with chem-lights at night.

Electronic timing via bib/chip records laps, and pacers must be registered entrants. The event is capped at 500 participants, offers 24-hour and 100K awards, and is USATF-sanctioned, with on-site parking options and lodge facilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
