Event overview
The Chilly Cheeks 5K takes place on October 3, 2026 at Star Ranch in McDade, Texas (166 Eely Rd.). The event is a 5 km run/walk and is presented as part of the Star Ranch series stop for the A.A.N.R. Southwest Nude Racing Series. The 5K is clothing optional. All participants must pre-register before race day. Star Ranch is described as a long-established nudist recreation site with more than 68 years of operation.
Course and race logistics
The course runs through rural areas of Star Ranch, with about three kilometers through open pastures and shaded woodland trails, then transitions into a developed portion. The final two kilometers follow sand and gravel paths that connect member cottages and cabins and finish at the ranch pool. After the event, participants may use the pool area and a light meal prepared on the grill will be available while race results are announced.
