Course and race features
The course uses Bastrop State Park trails and consists of dirt and rocky single-track trails. The route is hilly, with about 800 feet of elevation gain for each 20K loop. The event is supported with aid stations for food and hydration and a fully marked course. The race does not provide disposable cups, so participants must use their own water-carrying systems.
Gear and awards include a longsleeve, finisher medals for 40K, 20K, and 7K, a 60K mini-buckle, a 100K finisher buckle, a 20K ruck patch, and awards for top finishers and specific placements. Pacers are allowed on the last two loops of the 100K, with a limit of one pacer per participant. Cutoffs are set for the 60K and 100K distances.
