Event overview
The Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run takes place on December 13, 2025, at the Arab City Park Historical Village in Arab, Alabama. The event includes a timed 5K and a children’s Fun Run of approximately 0.6 mile for ages 12 and under. The 5K is chip timed by Fleet Feet and there are overall, masters and age-group awards. There are no time limits for the event and costumes or Christmas attire are welcome. Adults may accompany children in the Fun Run at no charge; the Fun Run T-shirt is not included with free adult participation.
Logistics and extras
Packet pickup and late registration will be available at Lifespring Baptist Church on Friday, December 12, and at the Arab City Park Historical Village on race day. Participants who sign up by November 29 will be guaranteed a T-shirt. The event provides race bibs, glow-in-the-dark items at packet pickup, and recommends bringing a small flashlight. Additional features listed include a finish-line celebration, refreshments, Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, Christmas music and singing, and park and Historical Village holiday lights and decorations.
