Church of the Blessed Sacrament's Oktoberfest Run for the Poor 5K

Church of the Blessed Sacrament hosts the Oktoberfest Run for the Poor in Wichita, Kansas. The festival-style race includes a 5K Run/Walk, a 1 Mile Fun Run, plus a Stein Holding 5K Division and a Stroller 5K Division. The chip-timed course starts at Roosevelt and Circle Drive and finishes at Quentin and Douglas, winding through the historic College Hill neighborhood into the Oktoberfest celebration.

Runners enjoy live music, a kids’ area, German fare and beer (21+). Each entrant receives a tech shirt; race prizes go to division and overall winners. Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
