First Responders 5K Run & Walk

First Responders 5K Run & Walk in Derby, Kansas is a locally organized fundraiser by the First Responders 5K Run & Walk Foundation, a non-profit run by a board of first responders and community members. On October 4, 2025, participants can choose from several events: a 5K Run & Walk (with options for a free T-shirt or no T-shirt), a 1 Mile Run & Walk (also with or without a T-shirt), and a Kids Fun Run. The race takes place at 801 E Madison Ave, Derby, and benefits the Derby Police Department and the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit.
