Cinderella Trail Run : event overview
The Cinderella Trail Run takes place in Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland, CA on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

Parking at the park is free. Drop bags are available for the 30K, Marathon, and 50K at the start/finish. Pre-registered runners receive a T-shirt; registration at least ten business days before the event is required to guarantee a shirt. There is a costume contest for "Cinderella Theme" costumes with a prize.
Course, aid stations, and rules
The course runs through Joaquin Miller and Redwood Regional parks on Sequoia-Bayview and French trails, finishing on the technical Cinderella trail. Course surfaces and elevation gains by distance: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- 8K: Elevation gain 725'; mostly single track.
- Half Marathon: 2,385' gain.
- 30K: 3,110' gain.
- Marathon: 4,770' gain.
- 50K: 5,495' gain. Flagging marks the route about every 200 yards. Color coding separates loops by distance; polka-dot flagging indicates turns. Aid stations are fully stocked every 3-6 miles with fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch drink. The event is cupless; runners should carry their own fluid container. Headphones are allowed on dirt roads only. No dogs are allowed on the course. Organizers note the presence of poison oak and occasional bees or yellow jackets.
