City of Westlake Community Run
City of Westlake Community Run, hosted by the Westlake Recreation Department as part of Safety & Wellness Day, takes place on the Westlake Recreation Center Grounds, 28955 Hilliard Blvd., Westlake, OH 44145. The event features a 5K Run/Walk (timed) and a 5K Race Walk (timed speed walk), plus an untimed 1-Mile Walk and a Kids Dash for ages 8 and under. The race begins and ends on the Recreation Center campus and winds through Westlake.
Post-race festivities include refreshments, fruit, awards pickup, a pancake breakfast with Chris Cakes, inflatables, and a DJ, plus a Safety & Wellness Fair. Chip-timed for 5K and Speed Walk; 1-Mile is untimed. Goody bags for the first 200 registered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
