About the race
Shaker Lakes Hike & Run takes place at Shaker Lakes Parklands in Cleveland, Ohio, 2600 South Park Boulevard. The event features a road race and hikes for all ages. Runners can tackle chip-timed 5k or 10k on a scenic course around Shaker Lakes, plus a chip-timed 1 Mile Run/Walk on the same streets.
Hikers can choose routes from 1 to 6 miles, including Rim of the Gorge, Lakes-to-Lake, and an ADA-accessible family hike. Awards include $100 cash for the Top Overall Male and Female in the 5k and 10k, plus age-group cookie medals and 1-Mile medals. 100% of donations support the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.
