Coach Mike Slinskey Celebration of Life 5k
The Coach Mike Slinskey Celebration of Life 5k is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers Falls, New York. The event is organized by Grass Roots Running and the Mid-Hudson Road Runners Club and is held in memory of Coach Mike Slinskey. Registration fees vary by date. The 5k entry is listed at $25 through October 12, $30 through November 1, and $35 on race day. The virtual 5k fee is listed as $35 through November 2. The kids 1 mile fee is listed at $10 through November 1 and $15 on race day. T-shirts are only guaranteed for participants who register by October 9, 2025. Awards for the 5k include overall male and female winners and top three in standard age groups from 19 & under to 80+. The kids 1 mile will award overall male and female winners.
