Logistics and rules

All runners are provided with GPS trackers and a shareable link that shows their location. Runners are responsible for their own well-being; race staff do not provide assistance along the course. There are stores, restaurants, and hotels on the route, and runners must plan when to sleep and when to resupply. Crews are allowed and may carry supplies and shelter runners in crew vehicles. Runners may not be transported by any vehicle. If a participant behaves in a way that endangers themselves or others, they may be removed from the course. Participants are expected to stay on the course and correct any errors by returning to the point where they left the course. Optionally, runners who request a ride and hotel may leave their vehicle at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio the day before and be transported to a hotel near the start.
