Cocodona 250 is a point-to-point ultramarathon from Deep Canyon Ranch, Black Canyon City, to Heritage Square, downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, spanning about 256 miles through iconic Arizona trails and towns. Runners traverse Black Canyon Trail, the Bradshaw Mountains, Prescott, Jerome, Clarkdale, Sedona, and the Coconino National Forest on a route linking desert canyons to pine forests and red rock country. Elevation gain is roughly 40,700 feet with 35,700 feet of descent, on mostly single- and double-track trails with some pavement (about 45/46/9).

The race mandates GPS navigation, uses cupless aid stations, supports sustainability, and allows pacers after mile 79. Aid stations total 21 with four water stops; finish in Flagstaff. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
