Colorado River Run : November 28–29, 2025
The Colorado River Run is a trail running event held over Thanksgiving weekend at Turkey Bend Park on the Colorado River, near Marble Falls and Lago Vista, Texas. The event includes multiple distances across two days and is organized by Fit Foundation. Park entry for registered participants is included; limited campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The course runs along riverbanks and natural trails, combining single-track, dirt paths and occasional technical sections with moderate elevation changes. The 100-mile format uses a scenic 10-mile loop with direction alternating each lap; the 50-mile follows the same loop for five laps. Fully stocked aid stations will provide hydration, nutrition and medical support, with snacks such as fruit, cookies and bars. Pacers are permitted for the ultra distances after specified mile points and must register and follow pacer rules. Animals are not allowed at the event. Custom finisher medals are awarded to finishers and an ultra buckle is available for 50- and 100-mile finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
