Colt 45 Trail Run

The Colt 45 Trail Run is a premier trail running event held at Colt Creek State Park in Lakeland, Florida. Scheduled for November 22, 2025, the race offers four challenging distances: the Colt Double Malt (60 miles), Original Colt 45 (45 miles), Colt Silver (45K), and Colt Mini (14 miles). The courses consist of multiple loops through scenic trails featuring pine flatwoods, cypress domes, and open pastures within the Green Swamp Wilderness Area.

Each loop includes three aid stations to support runners. Finishers receive handcrafted awards, and top male and female runners in each distance earn special recognition.
