The Colt 45 Trail Run is scheduled for November 22, 2025 at Colt Creek State Park, 16000 State Rte 471, Lakeland, FL 33809. The event is organized by A1 Ultra Events and offers multiple trail distances on park trails.

Course, services and policies
The course is composed of repeated loops. The 60 mile distance (Colt Double Malt) is four 14-mile loops for a total of 60 miles. The 45 mile distance (Original Colt 45) uses three 14-mile loops plus a 3-mile starter loop for a 45-mile total. The 45K (Colt Silver) is two 14-mile loops. The 14 mile distance (Colt Mini) is one 14-mile loop. There are three aid stations per loop.
Post-race finisher awards are handcrafted and given to all finishers. The top male and female runners for each distance will also receive an award. The event has a rollover credit policy: registered runners may receive a 70% credit toward the following year if they request it up to seven days before the race; participants must re-register the following year and the credit will be applied at checkout.
