Crowell Hilaka Trail Run
The Crowell Hilaka Trail Run, held at Richfield Heritage Preserve in Richfield, Ohio, offers runners a scenic experience through woods, bridle trails, open fields, and camp roads. Participants can choose from a 50K, half marathon, or 10K distance, all run on a 6-mile loop repeated accordingly. The course features natural trail challenges like mud, slippery rocks, roots, and minor water crossings, with autumn colors enhancing the mid-September event.
The preserve is historically rich, once home to pioneers and a Girl Scout camp. Aid stations provide water, gels, and snacks, and awards are given to top finishers by category. Participants receive unisex T-shirts and finisher medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
