Cupid Run for Hope 5K & 1Mi. : overview
The Cupid Run for Hope 5K & 1Mi. takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Cartersville, GA at Dellinger Park (100 Pine Grove Rd.). The event is presented by the Cherokee Judicial Mental Health Community Council and benefits the local Mental Health Court program. The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Ghost Runner (support option for non-participants)
The race supports participants in the Mental Health Court program by raising funds for needs such as medications, transportation, and other basic supports. The Mental Health Court serves Bartow and Gordon Counties and offers community-based treatment and supervision.
Course, registration and awards
The 5K uses Dellinger Park’s vita trail, a route that organizers note has been used for almost 40 years and is described as flat. The race will be professionally timed by Wire2Wire Running using MyLaps R.F.I.D. technology. Registration closes on February 1, 2026. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for those who pre-register by January 30, 2026. Day-of registration is available at a higher fee; day registrants may not be guaranteed a T-shirt. Awards for the 5K include 1st–3rd overall (male and female), 1st master (male and female), and medals for top three in standard age groups from 10 & under through 70 & over. The 1 Mile Health Walk/Fun Run has a single award for the fastest child 6 & under. Parking is available throughout Dellinger Park. This is a rain-or-shine event.
