Event overview
Cupid's Chase 5K Havertown takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Haverford High School, 200 Mill Road, Havertown, PA 19083. This is the 18th annual race in a national series that celebrates the founding of Community Options. The event includes a certified 5K with professional timing. Last year, the series attracted over 11,000 runners nationwide.
Community Options, Inc. is the event beneficiary. It is a national nonprofit (IRS 501(c)(3)) incorporated in 1989 and headquartered in Princeton, NJ. The organization provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Race features and logistics
The event is fully accessible and allows runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers, and participants using wheelchairs. The event is pet-friendly if pets remain leashed. To guarantee a race shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2026; shirts are available after that date while supplies last. Giveaways include a finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last.
This is a rain or shine event and all registration fees are non-refundable. Entry price listed is $40, with a price increase after November 30, 2025. Sponsorship opportunities are available, priced between $500 and $10,000, with Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Exhibitor Table levels. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, and age group medals will be awarded in 14 age groups from 12 & under through 70 & over.
