About the race
Cupid's Chase 5K Butler is held at Lake Arthur Golf Club in Butler, Pennsylvania. This certified 5K features professional timing and is open to runners, walkers, people with strollers or wheelchairs, and pets (must be leashed). It is a rain-or-shine, fundraiser benefiting Community Options, which provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
As part of a national race series, the event draws a large, family-friendly crowd; the organization notes over 11,000 participants nationwide in prior years and marks its 18th annual edition. Finisher medals and a drawstring bag are included, with age-group medals awarded in 14 categories and trophies awarded to the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
