Cupid's Chase 5K Las Cruces is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Old Mesilla Plaza, 2114 Calle De Santiago, Las Cruces, NM. The race is part of a national series that marks the founding of Community Options. The event benefits Community Options, Inc., a national nonprofit (IRS 501(c)(3)) incorporated in 1989 and headquartered in Princeton, NJ. The series reported over 11,000 participants nationwide last year.
Race details
The event features a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted after the race. The event is fully accessible and pet-friendly; all pets must remain leashed. Giveaways include a finisher medal and a drawstring bag while supplies last. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals are awarded to male and female finishers in 14 age groups: 12 & under, 13–15, 16–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69 and 70 & over. To guarantee a race shirt, registration must be completed by January 1, 2026; shirts after that date are available while supplies last. The listed entry fee is $40 and sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $10,000. The event is held rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable.
