Cupid's Chase 5K San Antonio takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the San Antonio Zoo, 3903 North St Mary's Street, San Antonio, TX 78212. The event is part of a national race series that celebrates the founding of Community Options and marks its 18th local running. The event includes a 5K and a range of sponsorship opportunities (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Exhibitor Table). The published registration price for the 5K is $40; the price increases after November 30, 2025. The race welcomes runners, walkers, participants with baby strollers or wheelchairs, and sponsors. Last year more than 11,000 participants joined the series nationwide.

Race features and beneficiary

The course is a certified 5K with professional timing and results posted immediately after the race. No pets are permitted at the race location. To guarantee a race shirt, registrants should be registered by January 1, 2026; shirts and giveaways such as a finisher medal and drawstring bag are available while supplies last. Trophies will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers. Age group medals will be awarded to male and female finishers in 14 age groups (12 & under; 13–15; 16–19; 20–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; 70 & over). The event is held rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable. The beneficiary is Community Options, Inc., a national nonprofit (IRS 501(c)(3)) founded in 1989 and headquartered in Princeton, NJ, which provides housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
