About the race
Dam Site Run is a fall race held in LeRoy, Illinois, at Moraine View State Park near Dawson Lake. The Dam Site Half Marathon, run on a certified course, is chip-timed with split times, and it wraps with post-race food, awards, a finisher medal, and swag amid fall colors. After a venue switch due to road construction, the race returns to Dawson Lake within Moraine View State Park in 2025.
